Antra Švarcs is an illustrator known for her bold, optimistic, and visually eloquent style. She combines analog techniques—brush and ink, paper collage, pastel, pencil—to layer texture, pattern, and linework into her digital compositions.

Select clients include: Meta, Apple, Virgin Atlantic, Honda, Godiva, Speedo, United Chemists, Melbourne Food & Wine Festival, Monash University, the Victorian Department of Education, Frankie Magazine, and Flow Magazine.

Education & Work

• 2015 // Graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours, First Class) in Communication Design.
• 2015 // began commercial illustration practice.
• 2016-2020 // taught Communication Design, Illustration, and Art & Design Theory at Monash University.
• 2020-2022 // moved to Los Angeles, working as an Illustration Director at Alltrue.

Originally from Melbourne, Australia, she is now based in the US. When not in the studio, she can usually be found skiing, hiking, or cycling in the backcountry—or cooking an ambitious seasonal feast.

Fun facts of note; Antra’s first language is Latvian, she kayaked for the Australian National Team, lived in France for two years and biked across Europe for 6 months.
