Five hand-painted brand illustrations created for Leap Street, an early learning program focused on teaching young children the fundamentals of literacy and numeracy.

Design Problem:
Develop a distinct visual identity for the rebrand of Leap Street, an early learning program, through dynamic and engaging illustrations. Create five spot illustrations in a hand-painted style that is simple yet expressive. The illustrations should incorporate a playful, slightly surreal touch, potentially achieved through distortions in proportions.
The artwork should feature the brand colors of mint and charcoal, with flat color blocks and textured linework. Depict children of preschool and prep age. Avoid reference to overt playing – and instead depict the characters in a state of fun learning. The illustrations will be used across various brand touchpoints, including physical signage, printed materials, the website, and social media platforms.
