A collection of editorial illustrations created for Monash University’s Art, Design, and Architecture Department’s promotional magazine. The commission included a detailed cover illustration and several editorial pieces accompanying various articles and interviews throughout the publication.
Design Problem:
Bring to life the written content of Monash University’s Art, Design, and Architecture Department's promotional magazine, Horizons, through a series of illustrative outputs. The illustrations should capture the vibrant energy, creativity, and sense of community that define the on-campus experience. The front cover image should present an artistic interpretation of an elevation view of the facility. This should include visual references to key features of the Caulfield Campus, such as the Campus Green, MUMA (Monash University Museum of Art), lecture halls, the library, computer labs, art studios, and classrooms. Additional illustrations will be created to support specific sections throughout the magazine. These visuals will be used across Monash University’s social media channels, website, and the printed publication.
